Interesting facts about my own relationship:

• I married my childhood sweetheart. We’ve been married for the past 38 years, and yes – it’s been quite the journey!
• My husband, Pat is an identical twin. This has really shown me how very unique we all are. For as much as my husband looks like his twin, that’s where the similarities end.
• Each of these brothers are incredibly unique. Oh – and if you think being married to an identical twin is the coolest thing -?think again!

My clients sure get a kick out of some of the stories of mistaken identities, and times they’ve covered for one another. But that will have to wait for a future blog post.

The point is, this is how I view relationships – each is unique; each has its challenges; and each relationship should be interesting and fun!

That is probably why I find it so enjoyable to coach couples who are planning to get married. I take them on a six-week journey of discovery that firmly plants their future on a more solid foundation – foundational truths that are sometimes missing when couples say, “I do.”

I specialize in helping women, newly wed couples and married partners to develop healthy relationships. My goal is to provide the tools, strategies and communication secrets for my clients to have fulfilling, lasting relationships – that work and are enjoyable for both partners.

Simple skills and subtle changes can make all the difference in how you communicate, how you are being heard, and, more importantly, how you are hearing others.
